Tamal Kumar Saha, the Founder and CEO of THIRD EYE, is a graduate Engineer(EEE) with a wealth of experience in various sectors. After graduating from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology(KUET) in 2000, he began his career with Toyo Engineering Corporation(TEC) where he was involved in inspection and testing of equipment and materials for the BCIC project in the Ghorasal Fertilizer Factory.
With a passion for quality and safety, Tamal’s experience in the maintenance department at Bay Rubber and footwear limited required him to perform scheduled and routine maintenance works of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery, and managed sub-contractors.
His extensive experience in quality assurance, testing, design, product certification, and management system certification in the cable, transformer & switchgear industries, such as BRB Cables, Paradise Cables Ltd., has enriched his knowledge of product standards, processes, and management systems. His involvement in laboratory operations helped those organizations as per ISO 17025.
As the Manager of Business Assurance at Intertek, Tamal led the team of Electrical Safety Assessment, Fire Safety Audit, Energy Audit, EIA, and relevant testing, training, and inspection processes. He conducted over 500 Man-days of QMS, EMS & OHSMS Audits, and 250 Man-days of CSR audits as a Lead Auditor/Auditor. Tamal was also involved in conducting CRI-IRCA Five Days QMS LA courses and developing material of Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, and conducted about 100 seminars on Energy Audit, EIA, Electrical and Fire Safety, Management System Certification, among others.
Tamal is a registered LA of ISO 9001:2015(QMS), ISO 14001:2015(EMS), ISO 45001:2018(OHSMS), BSCI & CPI, and has successfully completed CQI-IRCA LA/auditor courses on ISO 50001:2018(EnMS) & ISO 27001:2022(ISMS). He is also a proud member of IEB with membership no. M35725.
